We both have busy office jobs in the city and locally
How did you feel before your dog started walking with us?
I (Isabelle) work from home two days a week but the rest of the week we are both in the office. We have family that help look after Bleu but as she is a large breed we didn’t want to put pressure on them having to walk her and we wanted to ensure her dog socialisation was regular as well as mental enrichment.
Did you have any worries about hiring someone to take care of your dog?
Of course it is EXTREMELY scary trusting someone with your fur-baby. We wanted to make sure we had the right professional with the right experience (especially with large breeds) who we could trust and rely on, and that’s how we eventually found Mac.
What was the experience of finding us and working with us like?
Since day one we have felt comfortable with Mac, he is very experienced, super knowledgeable and most importantly he loves dogs!
We found Mac through a local Facebook group and after reading through his website we had a phone call to discuss general questions and then arranged a meet at our house. Mac met Bleu and we discussed packages, how the logistics would work and whether Mac was the right fit for us, this was followed by a couple of trail walks. Bleu can be quite anxious so it did take a few walks before she was relaxed with Mac but that was expected with a stranger coming into our home, but the rest is history and Bleu loves Mac now!
What changes/problems did our service solve for you/your dog, If any?
Bleu is a lot more confident and relaxed around other dogs since starting regular group walks with Mac, as she is a large breed sometimes if we walk her people don’t want to let their small dogs play with her because she looks big and scary. Now she can go out with all of her small furry friends (who she much prefers to big dogs funnily enough!) and has a whale of a time. We love receiving the photos and updates from Mac through the app after her walk to see what they got up to on their adventures.

Really happy, great communication from Mac and one happy pup!
Would you recommend our services to others?
100%, especially for anyone with large breeds and are worried about them being too much of a handful for a dog walker, Mac is more than capable and can assist with training along the way.
